Back rest

Back rest is ancillary equipment designated for patients with reduced mobility and who are permanently in lying position which prevents or hinders the unassisted performance of daily living activities. Back rest helps to maintain half-sitting position without having to be hold by other person. It is also used in order to tilt the patient to erect position by gradually accustoming the cardiovascular system to sitting position. The back rest is recommended for use at home and in hospitals.
